Visions Cinema and Bar Noir in Dupont Circle Washington

After providing Washington DC four years of eclectic independent and international cinema, in addition to fostering a sense of community for neighborhood residents, we are heartbroken to learn that Visions Cinema and Bar Noir has closed its doors.

We are extremely grateful to Visions for providing an outlet for thought provoking fare such as The Secretary, Fat Girl, Happenstance, Baise-moi, Raising Victor Vargas (a personal favorite of a 47west63rd team member), Seducing Dr. Lewis, He loves me he loves me not, and A Man to Love among others.

Please join us in bidding a fond adieu to this Washington landmark tomorrow Sunday September 26 at 6:00 pm at the Visions Closing Party.

That is a real bummer. Visions was a great venue for movies. I saw some awesome films there and am sad to see it go. Au Revior Visions, you will be missed
